The two types of artistic behaviors that I used were Artists Reflect and Artists solve problems. To start off with artists reflect I reflected on how I would make/prepare the hat that George was going to wear. Also I thought back to the cloak and how I would make it look like it was blowing in the wind. Furthermore I backtracked to the facial features of George and decided weather or not that they were in the correct place. Lastly for artists reflect I looked back to the whole physique of the artwork to make it look like George Washington. To start off with artists solve problems I solved the problem with the hat and preventing it from drooping/falling by proportionally placing pieces on it until i get the full hat. Secondly I tested wind blown clothing looks to make sure I go the cloak to looked wind blown. Continuing with that I worked on creating detail to the cape to make it pop out more. Finally I worked on the head direction different from the body direction so it would match the picture and have that realistic look.

The two artistic behaviors that I used are artists take risks and artists use tools/materials correctly. First of all for artists take risks I worked on creating the cape and its setup. Secondly I creating the hat and making it defy gravity. I also took risks on creating the facial features and where to have them placed. As well as making the whole thing look like an outfit instead of adding layers of clay to get the same outcome. To begin with artists use tools/materials correctly I used the rubber rib to make the cape look like it is flowing in the wind. Further more I used the serrated edge scrapper to attach the hat to the head. Following that I the fettling knife to make the different proportions on the clothing parts. Lastly I used the clay not just for continuing my project I also used it to keep parts of the project together and I used it for repairing it as well.
